Copper Mountain Technologies USB Compact VNAs

RIGHT RF TEST TOOLS
FOR THE FCC CHANNEL REPACK

METROLOGY-GRADE VNAS IN YOUR TRANSMITTER ROOM AND IN THE FIELD

Following the 2016 broadcast spctrum incentive auction, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced that over 1,000 TV stations will need to move to new frequencies within the next few years. Not only does this affect repacked television stations, it can also affect radio stations and non-repacked television stations that are near or share a tower with repacked television stations.

With the channel repack beginning in late 2018, stations are starting to consider repack construction. As stations plan their new RF system and the switch to new components, it is important to plan for filter and switch replacement or re-tuning in the limited space of the transmitter room, installing auxiliary or new antennas, and standing up a back-up site during the transition.

Many companies have turned to Copper Mountain Technologies' VNAs for help with this very important task. From metrology-grade antenna analyzers to Compact VNAs to Frequency Extension Systems up to 110 GHz, our USB VNAs deliver measurement accuracy and performance in a compact package.

Our customer Dielectric is focused on making the move as smooth as possible. Visit their website to download the guide to FCC TV channel repack.
